Hawaii Vacation on Budget 2023

 

ALOHA!! Do you want to know a secret??

My husband and I went on vacation trip for 5 days and 4 nights in Honolulu, Hawaii. And we only spent under CAD$ 2000 for both of us. 

Not too cheap? It may still be above your budget, however given that Hawaii is one of the most expensive tourist spots in the world? then you hit the jackpot on this. 

We live in Toronto, Canada and so our closest tropical vacation trips are either Cuba, Mexico, Florida, Jamaica, Bahamas etc. 

But Hawaii...in my opinion, is a must be on you bucket list. Because it's not just the beach, it's the volcanoes, the mountains, culture and history. 

Here are the 2 websites I used to get the best price for my vacation:

Booking.com

If you are a member of booking.com, and you've accumulated rewards or at a genius level (I'm a still at Genius Level 2), you can get discounted price for their packages. Search in the flight+hotel and you can find different vacation packages. June is still on the cheaper level when it comes to pricing, however July and August are perhaps on the higher price.

I recommend getting a hotel with Free Breakfast. We chose Holiday Inn Waikiki as they have free hot breakfast!

There are a lot of outdoor activities you can do while on Hawaii, and you need to plan ahead. We used discounts from this site to book our Catamaran trip and Day tours of the island. If you're lucky, you can find discounts on Luau's which is a must see.

Overall, Hawaii is such a beautiful island you will never regret going. There are other islands you can explore and are as beautiful as Oahu.
